What if I told you that you are living your life in the midst of a great story, a scene so to speak, or a chapter in a story that had it's beginning before you were even born and may even have it's end after you exit your particular scene.
What if I told you this story has already been written and it is playing out exactly as it should. This story has a Hero, an enemy, it is not without challenges, cliffhangers, peril and scary scenes, but the ending is a happy one as the Hero saves (more than) the day and we are all playing a role as it unfolds before us. We do get to choose how we play our role but we will not change the story.
What if in understanding the story, it's beginning, it tragedies, you start to understand your own personal challenges and difficulties better? If you have every wondered why some people behave the way they do, why we struggle, and hurt and grieve living in this broken world with broken people and why there is so much turmoil and division and lack of peace and anxiety and hopelessness, then you need to understand the story you are in. When you understand it, things are put into perspective, expectations are adjusted and hope is renewed.
